Krzysztof Kościuczuk /

Krzysztof Kościuczuk (he/his, b. in Poland) is an art historian and curator. After graduating in art history and English philology from the University of Warsaw, Krzysztof Kościuczuk worked for the Foksal Gallery Foundation, Warsaw, the Warsaw Royal Castle, the Zachęta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw, and the German Forum for Art History, Paris, among others. Before moving to Switzerland in December 2017, he worked for the fourteenth edition of the documenta exhibition, which took place in Kassel and in Athens under the leadership of artistic director Adam Szymczyk. From 2017 to 2022 he worked at the Muzeum Susch, Switzerland, where he was artistic director responsible for the exhibition program, including retrospectives of Emma Kunz, Heidi Bucher, Evelyne Axell, Laura Grisi, and Carolee Schneemann. He has edited and co-edited numerous publications and magazines, including Art Forum, Abitare, Camera Austria, Frieze d/e. Since 2016 he has been a contributing editor of Frieze and collaborates with Mousse Magazine. 2023-2025 Krzysztof Kościuczuk has been a lecturer and director of the Master's program Contemporary Artistic Practices with Clovis Maillet at HEAD (Haute école d'art et de design) - Genève and currently works as freelance author and curator, based in Basel, Switzerland.
